Holmes Care Group acquires 12 care homes in Fife

Holmes Care Group has announced its acquisition of 12 care homes in Fife from Kingdom Homes.

The acquisition will see Holmes Care more than double its portfolio to 22 Scottish care homes and one in England.

Following the acquisition, the Holmes Care Group now employs almost 1,650 staff and supports approximately 1,150 beds.

The deal was enabled through a loan from Impact Healthcare REIT.

Earlier this week, the REIT announced its acquisition of two care homes in Northern Ireland and a service in Kilmarnock for £14.3m.
