Family run care home provider Yorkare is celebrating its second Outstanding CQC rating.

Lindsey Hall in Cleethorpes, which is a 79-bed residential and dementia care home, follows Yorkare’s Magdalen Park in gaining the regulator’s top rating (see Yorkare celebrates first Outstanding).

Jonathan Garton, Yorkare Homes Operations Director, said: “We are extremely pleased with achieving the top rating of Outstanding by CQC. It shows the high level of care and commitment the staff provide our residents. Congratulations to them all.”

Lindsey Hall achieved Outstanding in three out of the five CQC categories – Caring, Effective and Well Led.

Home Manager Joanne Taylor added: “I am so pleased the home received the rating it deserves. The staff work so hard to try and deliver the highest quality care they can. It’s a fantastic service to manage.”

Claire Allison, Dementia Care Manager, added: “We were all delighted when we found out. The environment here at Lindsey Hall is wonderful and I’m glad this report shows the care is also at the highest level. We will be arranging a joint celebration for both staff and residents soon.”

The home, which was opened in September 2016 on the site of a former school, includes an innovative street scene reminiscence area (see Yorkare £6 million care home is streets ahead).

Lindsey Hall was among the winners at the Pinders Healthcare Design Awards in March (see Abbeyfield and Yorkare celebrate design awards). Magdalen in East Yorkshire was a previous winner of the award.
