Wynbrook raises £2000 running 5 mile Tough Mudder obstacle course

Wynbrook Tough Mudder team after event

A team from specialist care home builder Wynbrook has raised almost £2000 for a local hospice in Newark by completing the grueling Tough Mudder obstacle course.

Ten employees and directors took part in the event which was held at Belvoir Castle in May. The challenge sees teams compete over a 5 mile mud and obstacle course designed to test physical strength, stamina, and mental grit. It’s a challenge that emphasizes teamwork, camaraderie, and accomplishing a goal.

The Just Giving fund raising page shows that Wynbrook has already raised £1840 for Beaumond House Community Hospice in Newark, and donations can still be made by clicking here:

“We chose to take part in Tough Mudder Half Midlands as part of our company celebrations and because the teamwork ethos exemplifies the kind of values that has helped Wynbrook to reach its 30th anniversary. Taking part also gave us the opportunity to raise money for a Beaumond House, a really worthwhile charity which does so much for its local community,” said Wynbrook managing director Mike Day.

Fundraising for the hospice will continue at Wynbrooks’s 30th anniversary garden party, which takes place on 18 June.
