Specialist care home builders Wynbrook have handed over the keys to an £8m Adept Care luxury development in Chilwell, Nottinghamshire.
Chetwynd House is the latest in a series of luxury care homes developed by the two partners.
Adept Care Homes Managing Director Dave Lock said: “The handing over of the keys from Wynbrook is significant and exciting for us as it means that Chetwynd House, which offers affordable luxury, is now ready to welcome its first residents.
“Interest in our luxury care home has been exceptional and we are phasing in new residents on a gradual basis to ensure everyone is given plenty of support and time to settle into their new home.
“We are delighted with the quality of the home which has been designed to an incredibly top specification to allow our care team to deliver the highest quality of care. This, together with a range of wonderful facilities including a pub, cinema, shop and hair salon, offers residents and our team a truly superb place to live and work.”
En suite rooms have WiFi and Sky TV connections with upgraded rooms offering additional space and personal gardens.
The home is made up of five suites of 15 rooms with a communal lounge and ‘lifestyle kitchen’ designed for more intimate care.
Kenny Nelson, Relationship Director at the Royal Bank of Scotland, who funded the development, said: “Chetwynd House is a fantastic purpose-built new care home and I am delighted to once again demonstrate our support of Adept Care Home Group and their continued growth.
“Dave Lock has established a first class management team at Adept Care Home Group who are all extremely experienced in the care home sector and will bring their expertise and high standards of care to their new residents.”
Wynbrook’s Design & Build Construction Director, Steve Day, added: “We are thrilled to have completed another luxury care home for Adept Care, both on time and within budget. We look forward to working with them again.”
