Commercial property developer Wynbrook Design and Build, expects sales to exceed £10 million for the first time in 2016, according to its managing director Mike Day.
In an interview with local newspaper The Nottingham Post, Mr Day, who runs the business with is brother Steve Day, said that the care home sector had become a lucrative niche for Wynbrook.
The company has now completed 12 new care home projects across the East Midlands, including luxury home Rose Lodge, which it developed for Country Court Care in Market Deeping (pictured above).
Entering its 30th anniversary year in 2016, Wynbrook, which has another division building residential properties, says it aims to continue working with a select group of care home professionals.
“We have been very careful who we work for and the kind of projects we take on. All of the care homes we have built have been individually designed and developed to the client’s specifications and requirements,” Steve Day told the newspaper.
Wynbrook broke ground on its latest care home project in Wollaton in November. The new build 44 bed care home on Lambourne Drive will provide residential and nursing care.
The home is due for completion September 2016. Once open will include en-suite facilities to every room, a physio room, assisted bathroom facilities and communal lounge and dining areas.
The company is also working on a 78 bed care home in Derby and a 66 bed care home in Worcester.
