Akari Court’s Ayresome Court in Yarm, North Yorkshire has raised £300 for its residents.
The home hosted a Winter Wonderland for the benefit of the community and residents.
Lin Cordey, home manager at Ayresome Court, said: “It is a special time of year, and we are always looking at ways to provide enjoyable activities to our residents. The Christmas fayre was the perfect way to cap off the year, and I would like to thank everyone for attending and supporting our residents’ fund, which makes events like this possible.
“We are looking forward to hosting even more events in the new year and throughout 2017.”
Staff, residents and their families all came together for the event, which included entertainment from performers, various stalls, including a bottle stall, and a raffle with all prizes donated by members of the community.
The home also hosted a pantomime performance of Jack and the Beanstalk, as part of the celebrations, with residents and guests treated to candy floss and popcorn.
Ayresome Court provides residential care for up to 43 elderly residents.
