Westgate Healthcare receives Good or Outstanding for all care homes

Family owned and run care group, Westgate Healthcare, is celebrating after all of its care homes in Hertfordshire, Essex and Buckinghamshire that have been inspected by the CQC received Good or Outstanding ratings.

The care home operator reached the significant milestone after Hampden Hall Care Centre in Aylesbury was rated Good by the CQC in October.

Commenting on Hampden Hall, the CQC said: “People received care, support and treatment from trained staff and specialists able to meet their needs and wishes. People were supported to have maximum choice and control of their lives and staff supported them in the least restrictive way possible and in their best interests; the policies and systems in the service supported this practice.”
