Fulcrum Care CEO, Tony Thiru, (pictured) said: “We’re taking it as read that in 2021 care home owners and providers will continue to have to respond to the challenge of COVID-19, even though we now have hopes of vaccines. But our sector has been so focused on coronavirus, that it’s easy to overlook the other Cs that will be vital to commercial success in the care sector in 2021 – compliance, confidence and commercials. Our experts will be focusing on these to guide delegates through the steps they need to take to ensure their care homes are positioned for whatever 2021 throws at our sector.
“With evidence of tougher ratings from the CQC and the new inspection methodology, ensuring compliance with regulations will be essential to secure care home ratings. Public confidence in the care sector has taken a battering this year; restoring it will be essential for increasing occupancy rates and attracting and retaining quality staff. Compliance and confidence feed into the commercials of care home, but Fulcrum will also explore the key opportunities 2021 will present and how you can position your care home to take advantage of them.”
