The Care Workers’ Charity (CWC) will be trekking Hadrian’s Wall this autumn to raise money for crisis grants that support the care workers in their hour of need.

The 13-mile trek along a section of the wall with breath-taking views takes place on 1 October.

This is your chance to get together with colleagues to support your peers through a fun, team building experience.

The CWC supports the care workforce financially with their COVID-19 Emergency Fund and Crisis Support and in 2020 supported over 3,000 care workers who were struggling through an incredibly challenging year.

As the UK looks to remove restrictions, the CWC continues to support care workers, and so far, this year they have received over 2,000 applications of support from care staff. Never before has it been so important to support the social care workforce.

Register for the trek on the CWC website. You will be directed to Global Adventure Challenges (who are guiding the trek) to register. If you have any questions, email

Trek Hadrian’s Wall is sponsored by apetito and Wiltshire Farm Foods, as well as Countrywide Healthcare.
