Tory MP James Brokenshire officially opened a new café at Avante Care & Support’s Northbourne Court in Sidcup, south east London last week.

Avante Care & Support managing director Stuart Cross led the ceremony that was also attended by residents, family members and the café’s building contractors.

Mr Brokenshire, who cut the ribbon to open the café with Northbourne resident Nellie, said: “Well done and thank you to Avante Care & Support for investing in the café for residents, families, staff and the local community to enjoy. Seeing this investment is absolutely fantastic and it’s lovely to be back here with you all at Northbourne Court for this wonderful new café opening. I hope you all enjoy and make use of the new area in the months to come.”
