Not for profit care home provider, The Fremantle Trust, has partnered with Amazon to say a big ‘thank you’ to its carers.

Staff at the charity received an Amazon donated Gift Box along with a personally penned ‘thank you’ from CEO Sara Livadeas (pictured).

“I’ve been blown away by the incredible level of commitment from our teams as we moved through the recent crisis and beyond,” said Sara.

“They have put our residents and service users first to provide good safe care. They worked really hard to stay in contact with relatives, support garden visits and now the weather has turned we have set up visitor rooms in all our services. I am in awe of the work they do and I wanted to write to everyone personally so that they knew how much their service has meant to me, as well as to our residents.”

Sara wrote 1,600 hand written cards to go with the gift boxes in recognition of her staff’s fantastic work.

Head office staff loaded up their cars with the hundreds of boxes and delivered them directly to the homes.

Chloe Graur, Home Manager at newly refurbished Mulberry Court, said: “It was such a nice touch to receive a personal thank you. It would be easy for everyone to get lost in everything that’s going on, but it was a real boost to know that we’re being thought of and valued.”
