Temployer takes headache out of finding and managing temporary staff


Temployer, a digital service that matches carers and nursing professionals to temporary placements at care homes, is pushing into the UK market.

The Finnish company says its cloud-based service helps care homes manage daily temporary work arrangements and supports them in booking temporary workers to unfilled shifts.

Temployer serves both employers and temporary workers in real time and aims to automate the matching of temporary work positions to suitable care professionals without either the workers or the managers needing to master complex software.

Markus Itkonen, CEO & founder at Temployer, has established a permanent presence for the company in London, and is recruiting sales support staff while introducing the solution to care homes and other healthcare providers.

“We are speaking to the top five UK care home groups about pilot projects, and already have smaller groups running our solution,” he told Care Home Professional.

“We are promoting the service to nurses and carers and have around 20-30, mainly in London and Manchester, signing up with us every day,” he revealed.
