Sunrise Senior Living’s manager director Amanda Scott (pictured) and head of food and nutrition Sophie Murray are preparing to take the plunge for charity.
The dynamic duo are taking on a 10,000 feet sky dive organised by the National Association of Care Caterers on October 8th to raise £5,000 for HIV charity The Food Chain and the Alzheimer’s Society.
Ms Scott said: “I like a challenge but it will definitely be daunting to be doing this skydive – albeit for incredibly important causes. Sunrise has long supported the Alzheimer’s Society, and hopefully we can raise some great money for these two fantastic organisations. ”
Ms Murray added: “It is going to be incredibly scary being on that plane up – those moments just before the jump will be petrifying! However, I am proud to be involved. I’m hoping that my survival instincts – and the parachute – kick in at just the right time! ”
