“Our residents really value having great connectivity and entertainment and this partnership helps us create a great environment in each person’s home.

“Many love being able to keep in touch with family and friends, which reduces loneliness and boosts well-being. We also have quite a lot of sports fans and film lovers who want to enjoy the range of entertainment that Sky offers.”

Access to Sky’s Wi-Fi and broadband packages will help residents keep in touch with friends and family around the world, sending messages and sharing pictures easily. They will also be able to access online services, which will help them maintain their independence.

James Tweddle, Sales Director at Sky Business, said: “We are delighted to have agreed this partnership with One Housing. Sky’s TV and connectivity packages offer opportunities for meaningful entertainment and activities tailored to the specific preferences of different individuals, and can improve the satisfaction and independence of care home residents.

“We look forward to working with One Housing and supporting them in delivering high-quality, person-centred entertainment and care.”
