Landscaped gardens include activity areas for the green-fingered and the home’s original design includes a grand village hall for community events.

The team at Signature at Beckenham will be led by General Manager Maggie Middleton, a registered nurse who brings a wealth of senior management experience as a nurse and director in the NHS and private healthcare. She was previously at Signature’s Parklands Manor in Chertsey and is also a specialist advisor for the CQC.

Maggie said: “Our new home will not only offer the highest standards of luxury environment but will also be a home that has a real sense of community and independent living. Our homes are award-winning through design and the care given to our residents.

“Our staff are chosen because of their obvious devotion to their role but also to the rest of their team and to all those in their care. Our homes are successful and loved by residents and families because all our staff are there to ensure that every day is as a resident would like it to be – the resident is at the heart of everything that we do.”
