Staff and residents are celebrating after a previously Inadequate rated care home was rated Good in all categories.
St Michaels Court, an 88-bedroom Norfolk care home, provides a place to live for people over the age of 65 living with dementia, as well as those who require personal care support and nursing care, available via a professional team, 24 hours a day.
Home Manager, Alison Lawrence, said: “We are so pleased to officially receive a Good rating. We practise person-centred care, looking after the needs and wishes of every individual in our home. Our dedicated and passionate team are happy that their efforts are consistent and compliant, to provide an effective residential care service.
“I am incredibly proud of every single member of the staff team. It is a privilege to come to work every day to look after our residents. Our continuous training and service monitoring ensures a safe, inspiring, and comfortable living environment for all.”
Gavin O’Hare-Connolly, Chief Operating Officer for Runwood Homes Senior Living, added: “I am truly delighted to see this service return to Good in all key lines of enquiry.
“The Home Manager and her wider team have worked incredibly hard to see the standards we expect both implemented and sustained. The positivity at St Michaels is palpable and we look forward to welcoming new residents to live with us imminently.”
