The first year’s construction will focus on a complete refit and upgrade of the interior of the main building. This will be followed by work to improve the facade of the home.

Randolph Hill Nursing Home Group runs six homes in East Lothian, offering nursing, residential, respite and end of life care.

The company recently secured a £26 million funding package from HSBC. The total investment in Muirfield will be around £8m. Details of how the remainder of the funding will be used have not been disclosed.
