Professor June Andrews has stepped down from her role as director of The Dementia Centre at Sterling University (DSDC).

The university says she will retain her link to the establishment as Professor Emeritus, but her work will be more limited to strategic projects.

Professor Alison Bowes, head of school of social sciences, praised the work of Professor Andrews, adding she “would like to take this opportunity to commend June’s outstanding contribution to the University and to the well-being of people with dementia and their carers: she has done magnificent work which has made a real difference”.
