Person Centred Software’s (PCS) Mobile Care Monitoring software has helped Oakhaven Residential Care Home in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire gain Outstanding.
The Cheltenham care home gained Outstanding in three categories following an inspection in April (see Cheltenham care home celebrates Outstanding).
The CQC’s report said: “Oakhaven had recently introduced a new electronic care planning system which staff used interactively as they provided care.
“The impact of this was more time for staff to spend with people delivering care and support as well as staff having instant access to people’s care needs and any changes which had arisen.
“This also meant the response time for dealing with people’s changing needs was quicker and referrals for health care professionals could be made promptly.”
Oakhaven began using PCS’s Mobile Care Monitoring software in early 2016.
There are now 18 Outstanding care homes using Mobile Care Monitoring for mobile evidence care and electronic care planning.
