Mobile Care Monitoring system provider, Person Centred Software, has extended its contract with healthcare technology provider, Ascom.
The two-year contract extension includes the provision of over 12,000 additional units of the Ascom Myco 3 smartphone to care personnel across 2,000 homes using Person Centred Software’s products.
The tech businesses signed an initial £2.67m joint control to provide 7,800 smartphones to care home staff in June 2019 with the Myco 3 becoming the standard device for staff in over 1,200 care homes using the Mobile Care Monitoring system.
When equipped with Person Centred Software’s award-winning Mobile Care Monitoring system, the Ascom device allows staff to digitally plan, record and monitor the care of residents in near real-time, saving carers up to an hour per day in paperwork and admin. Ascom is known for its mobile devices which not only improve workplace efficiency, bringing together critical information across systems and teams for better co-ordinated and responsive action, but may improve safety too.
The innovative software, which implemented eight new features to help protect the elderly and vulnerable in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, was recently awarded Best COVID-19 Software Solution in the Health Tech Digital Awards 2020.
Person Centred Software is also celebrating having been ranked at No. 46 in the Sunday Times Sage Tech Track 100, cementing its place as one of Britain’s fastest growing tech companies with 466% revenue growth over the last three years.
