Orchard Care Homes has completed its senior leader team line-up with the appointment of Cheryl Baird as Director of Quality and Neil Ward as new Group Marketing Manager.
Cheryl will oversee Orchard’s compliance, governance and quality to ensure high standards of care for residents. She is also the executive lead for nursing and dementia and will drive both strategies.
“I am passionate about delivering exceptional personalised care to residents,” Cheryl said.
“Orchard is a high quality provider of care and I am committed to developing new initiatives that will promote health and wellbeing for residents and the supporting frameworks for staff to have the knowledge and tools to deliver outstanding care.”
An experienced senior leader, Cheryl has worked in the health and social care sector for over 26 years. She joins Orchard from Four Seasons Health Care where she was responsible for quality and improvement of homes.
Orchard has also strengthened its marketing team, with the appointment of Neil Ward as Orchard’s new Group Marketing Manager. In this newly created role, Neil will head up the marketing team to promote Orchard’s achievements to local authorities, residents and families. Neil joins Orchard from Anchor Hanover, and has over 18 years’ marketing experience that will enhance Orchard’s marketing strategy and brand profile, in particular online.
