Octopus Real Estate secures site subject to planning for Solihull care home

Blythe Valley Park

Newly merged investment business Octopus Real Estate, part of the Octopus Group, has secured a site, subject to planning, for an 80 bed care home in Solihull.

The healthcare facilities’ investor announced it had exchanged contracts with IM Properties to purchase 1.4 acres for the Blythe Valley Park development.

Ashley Heath, of Octopus Real Estate’s healthcare development team, said: “The Blythe Valley Park is an exciting development to be involved in and we’re delighted to be working alongside the master developer IM Properties.

“The potential for a care home in this area is huge – Blythe Valley benefits from feeling incredibly rural with the amount of green, open space. Yet at the same time, it’s also really well connected to Solihull and its surrounding suburbs. We look forward to being able to oversee the build of the care home to provide exceptional healthcare facilities to the local elderly population.”

The plans for the site on the mixed used business park have been submitted to Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council.
