Ribbon Cutting

Nurse Plus has opened branches in Bedford and Bolton, taking the company’s network of agency offices to 50 across the UK.

David Crausby MP for Bolton and Richard Fuller MP for Bedford attended the ribbon cutting ceremonies and heard from company executives about the challenges of recruitment and training nurses for the domiciliary care and care home sectors.

The Bradford and Bedford nurses will immediately begin recruiting for qualified nurses, healthcare assistants and support workers, with a variety of work available in care homes, learning disability services and supported living environments.

Mr Crausby said he was pleased to see the company invest in Bolton in such a vital service to the community. “I’d like to thank Nurse Plus for inviting me to attend their opening event. I am always pleased to see good quality jobs come into Bolton. I was particularly impressed with the training and flexibility provided to staff,” he added.

Mr Fuller stated: “It was a pleasure to officially open the latest branch of Nurse Plus in Bedford, which offers specialist staff to local nursing homes, and to the NHS.”
