Award winning North Yorkshire care provider, Saint Cecilia’s, has appointed Laura Clegg to its new post of Group Director.
Laura, who has more than 30 years’ experience in the sector, will oversee the expanding group’s four homes and work with registered managers to build upon and improve the care they offer.
Managing Director Mike Padgham said: “This is an exciting new post for Saint Cecilia’s, and we are delighted to welcome Laura to the group.
“Laura will bring to Saint Cecilia’s a wealth of experience gathered from working in health and social care for more than 30 years. During that time, she has held a wide variety of nursing, management and leadership roles and has an excellent track record of success. I am confident she will become a major asset to Saint Cecilia’s.
“Her appointment will strengthen our management team and free up the other directors to concentrate on the development of the group and the care we provide.
“She joins us at an exciting and challenging time. Saint Cecilia’s continues to tackle the impact of COVID-19 whilst also looking to the future and ongoing plans to grow and expand our services.”
Commenting on her appointment, Laura said: “The values and ethos of Saint Cecilia’s absolutely reflect my own.
“I knew I could add value and use my experience to help build on their excellent reputation, drive the quality agenda forward and take the organisation to the next level.
“Saint Cecilia’s is well-known and respected, not just in North Yorkshire but also further afield, and is about to embark upon an exciting time of growth. It’s an amazing time to join the team and I’m so excited about it!”
“I look forward to developing positive working relationships with all our customers and staff. To be able to support the registered managers and share my experiences and knowledge with them.
“I want to make an impact by enhancing the quality and to be part of the development of innovative and exciting strategies that will define our future. I’d love to see my passion, values and beliefs mirrored by all Saint Cecilia’s staff with the result that the care and support we provide is truly second to none – not only in North Yorkshire, but nationally.”
