Newcross Healthcare has launched a Flexi Pay service allowing staff to immediately claim an advance after completing a shift.
The independent healthcare provider said the Flexi Pay service was part of a wider programme of investment to recruit and retain staff across the business.
Newcross Healthcare CEO and co-founder, Stephen Pattrick, said: “Flexi Pay is a first in the market and utilises pioneering technology from Lloyds Banking Group. The levels of usage and feedback we’ve received have been extremely positive and we’re excited to continue building new features that give our employees flexibility, freedom and choice to fit work around the other priorities in their lives.”
Flexi Pay is delivered to Newcross Healthcare staff through HealthForceGo®, an app developed in-house which matches shifts with the best qualified staff available. Payments are made to staff through Lloyds, which has developed a unique API in partnership with Newcross which means staff receive their payment instantly.
The new service means staff have the option to request up to 50% of the pay for their completed shift, with funds deposited in their bank account as soon as their shift has been validated. The service is available 24/7, 365 days per year, which means staff can be in receipt of funds immediately after their shift ends.
