iCareHealth and the National Care Forum (NCF) are creating a new model of how care organisations and technology companies work together.

The NCF and  iCareHealth UK’s mission is to create a dialogue among technology developers and those who use the technologies on a day to day basis. Both organisations believe the future of the sector depends on leveraging business intelligence that enables better care and efficiencies.

NCF executive director Vic Rayner (pictured) said: “NCF are delighted that iCareHealth are the headline sponsor for the Technology Exhibition at our forthcoming Annual Conference.

“iCareHealth recognise the power of change that both technological innovation and the effective use of data can bring to the social care sector. We are looking forward to working with them to share their knowledge and expertise with the NCF membership.”

The unique partnership will offer with it a series of discussion forums and events throughout 2017/18, covering topics including embedding informatics and data intelligence in care organisations.

Most care organisations collect their own data and have at least a back-office technology platform, but what comes after that? How can we come together around a table and ensure that the social care sector uses data effectively to give pro-active and pre-emptive care?

Rohan Vendy, CEO at iCareHealth, said: “We are excited at the opportunity of further strengthening our relationship with the NCF. We believe that with our joined up view on the benefits available through the use of technology and data, that we offer a partnership that supports the challenges faced by care home providers.

“Through the strength of our respective brands and our focus on innovation and change we believe that this partnership offers the sector a reference point for technology leadership and improved ways of working.”
