NatWest funds £1.6m care home acquisition

Hertfordshire based residential dementia care provider Benslow Management has acquired its fifth home thanks to a £1.6m NatWest loan.

The family run business has bought the 43-bed Five Gable Nursing Home in Kettering, Northamptonshire.

Stephen McQuinn, who founded Benslow Management with his wife Susan in 1998, said: “Our philosophy focuses on our ability to help people living with dementia to retain their independence, accommodate their condition and live their life to the full.

“Thanks to financial support from NatWest, we are now able to extend the care that we offer to more people in need. We are looking forward to working with the team at Five Gables, to ensure we provide the best quality of dementia care across all our sites.”

NatWest relationship manager, Rob Storey, added: “The provision of dementia care is an increasingly important issue nationally. The finance we have provided will enable Benslow Management to continue its aims of providing high quality care to as many people as possible, growing its business in the process.”

Benslow Management holds a Dementia accreditation from Hertfordshire County Council and employs 110 people.
