MP for Milton Keynes South, Iain Stewart, performed the ‘topping out’ ceremony at Country Court Care’s Lakeview Lodge care home.
The home, which officially opens on Sunday 3 September overlooks Little Willow Lake and will house 66 residents and create more than 40 jobs for local people.
Managing director of Country Court Care Alykhan Kachra said: “Our philosophy is simple – families and residents are at the heart of everything we do. Lakeview Lodge will offer residents beautiful surroundings with the reassurance of outstanding personalised care by our team.”
Spread over three floors, the home will be registered to provide residential and dementia care in a luxury environment, but at an affordable cost to the local community.
The home has been purpose-built in traditional stone to promote a lifestyle for residents that offers superior accommodation and a high quality of personalised care.
Facilities include 66 en-suite bedrooms, a hair salon, a café/bistro, a shop, a cinema room, and numerous lounges and communal areas.
Lakeview will be offering a fine dining experience and waitress service. There will also be a choice of different menus and all food will be prepared on site from fresh ingredients.
Family and friends will be invited to enjoy the experience with their loved ones.
Winners of the prestigious award by Health Investor for Residential Provider of the Year in 2015, Country Court Care has homes in South Yorkshire, Somerset, Cambridgeshire, Cheshire, Lincolnshire and London.
