A new 66-bed Country Court Care Home in Milton Keynes celebrates the Engima code breakers who played a vital role during the Second World War.

Themed areas within Lakeview Lodge include a code breaker corner in homage to the work carried out in neighbouring Bletchley Park.

Interior designer Samantha Lord told Care Home Professional: “We seek to push the bar further with each new Country Court Care development.

“We like to tap into the local area when designing our homes to help residents feel at home and bring the local community in.”

The 66-bed home includes a cinema, a hair salon, spa, café/bistro, shop and numerous lounges and communal areas.

The home is the third of five to be developed in partnership with LNT Construction.

A further two homes in Birmingham and Welwyn Garden City are scheduled for completion in January.

Al-karim Kachra, Country Court Finance Director, told us: “This area has a real need for high quality care. By providing standard, premium and double rooms we aim to meet all the needs of our residents.”

Nick Broadbent, Development Director of LNT Group, added: “We are delighted to hand over another great home to Country Court. We look forward to continuing our successful partnership in the future.”
