Luxury care homes operator Lovett Care has opened a new care centre for over 65s in Cheshire.
Located in Alsager, Twyford House Luxury Care Centre provides residential, memory, respite and day care for up to 70 residents.
Facilities include a terrace bar, a gin lounge, café bistro, cinema room, beauty clinic, four private dining areas, a library and a senses therapy room.
The care home has created over 30 jobs for local people during its first stage of recruitment, with plans to further expand the team in the future.
Sally Latham, Home Manager of Twyford House, commented: “We are so thrilled to open our doors to residents. Over the last few months, we have worked tirelessly to ensure that the facilities and spaces within Twyford House are finished to the highest of standards.”
“Now that we have achieved this, our mission is to create a vibrant and inclusive community that puts residents at the heart of everything we do. I am confident that we will achieve this, as not only do we have everything we need to care for residents, we’ve also recruited a team who are passionate about providing the best person-centered care possible.”
Twyford House is the third care centre to join the Lovett Care group. Its other homes are Goldendale House and Hilton House, both of which are located in Staffordshire.
Director of the Lovett Care Group, Carl Scarlett, said: “I cannot thank our team enough for their hard work and dedication. As a care organisation our main priority is to put the needs and wellbeing of residents at the heart of our homes. Twyford House is the embodiment of this, offering personalised care alongside luxurious, state-of-the-art facilities.”
“The large open plan spaces within Twyford House are well-suited to the current social distancing guidelines and we are ready to adapt as the situation changes. Now, our priority is to welcome new residents and make them feel at home while keeping them safe, comfortable, and happy.”
