“The facility will incorporate intelligent dementia design and be eco-friendly by benefitting from ground source heat pumps and LED lighting keeping utility costs low.”

Construction of the home is due to start in April with an expected completion date of March 2019.

The service is planned to provide a strong community service, integrating with nearly local facilities, including shops, churches and schools.

Accommodation will include en-suite bedrooms, communal areas, and amenities such as a cinema, library, garden room, tea shop and landscaped gardens.
