The home, which is being built on the site of the former British Timken factory, will be led by Rachel Cadd.

Rachel said: “It is really exciting to set up and manage a new home with responsibility for recruiting a full team of new staff.  Myself, Chris and everyone at Oakdale are incredibly passionate about care and I am certain we will find the right people to make Timken Grange a home from home for the people who live with us and, also a key part of the local community.”

Timken Grange will incorporate reminiscence elements in its exterior and interior design as well as facilities, including a cinema room, English Tea Room, library, sky lounge and landscaped gardens.
