LNT Construction is to build a 66-bed facility in Wilford, Nottingham for New Care following a deal completed by specialist business property adviser Christie & Co.

The purpose-built facility will be New Care’s second in Nottingham after The Grand Care Centre in West Bridgford.

Nick Broadbent, Development Director of LNT, said: “We are delighted to be working with the New Care team to deliver a home in accordance with their requirement for a premier quality product.”

Bernard Wynne, Director at Christie & Co added: “LNT offers a de-risked and cost effective solution to development procurement which is widely recognised by operators, funders, and investors.

“Their innovative and highly informed approach to design allows operators the flexibility to create homes with all the features residents and their families have come to expect.

“We are seeing high demand for purpose built care homes, especially across the South and Midlands.”

New Care opened its first ‘new generation’ care facility, Manorhey in Urmston, followed by Allingham House in Timperley in 2012.
