Living Through Landscapes is overseeing the creation of inspiring outdoor spaces at 30 care homes across the UK using £1.3 million of National Lottery funding.
The charity needs two project managers to help deliver the projects. Both will be based in Winchester, on the South coast and will be responsible for working with several contractors as well as with care home staff and residents to deliver the 30 projects on time and on budget.
The two positions are:
Senior Project Officer – Winchester, full time
We are looking for an experienced project officer to manage and oversee the delivery of this new project. With a minimum of 2 years experience of project management the senior project officer will have a commitment to engaging people in the natural environment and a proven track record of work in this area. It is essential that the post holder has knowledge or experience of working with people with dementia, either formally or informally, and experience of managing staff and volunteers as well as partner providers. Educated to degree standard or with significant relevant experience, we require a well organised individual with excellent communication skills.

Project Support Officer – Winchester, part time (3 days per week)
The Project Support Officer will be required to provide high level administrative/ project support for the project, to include diary and event management, marketing and communications, data collection/processing and quality control management. We are looking for an experienced, self motivated individual, with excellent communication skills who is able to help promote the project via social media, the press and via the LTL website. Some knowledge of the dementia care system would be an advantage but is not essential.
