The winner of the Home Care Executive of the Year is Martin Jones, CEO of Home Instead Senior Care.
The recipient of this prestigious accolade has been instrumental in steering a network of 200 offices in changing the face of ageing.
Martin is passionate about the company’s bespoke approach to quality, where the client comes first, and this has resulted in HISC achieving 53 CQC Outstanding ratings – more than any other care company in England.
He has also led HISC’s drive to investigate the potential of technology to drive positive change in the sector. He has been instrumental in developing the concept of ‘high-tech, high-touch’ and looking at how the company can use tech to enhance its care.
Martin is also dedicated to providing job opportunities that are fulfilling and which make best use of peoples’ skills and experience. In a sector plagued by poor employment perceptions and low retention rates, he is committed to change these perceptions by becoming an employer of choice.
On winning the award, Martin said: “It’s a privilege, and this is for all of the caregivers that are out there. It’s not about me, it’s about changing the face of the sector – so this is just a fantastic thing to be part of.”
