Leicester care home sold to experienced operator through NGA Care


Specialist healthcare business broker NGA Care has completed the sale of Rushey Mead Manor in Rushey Mead, Leicester.

The home, which is registered to provide nursing, personal, dementia and mental health care, was acquired by local care operator, The Clarendon Group.

Managing Director of NGA Care, Nick Greaves, who handled the sale, said: “Having successfully assisted Midland Healthcare Limited in another recent disposal, our client was extremely pleased that NGA Care has delivered another discreet, swift transaction. I would like to wish the new owners all the very best with their new venture.”

A spokesperson for The Clarendon Group said: “We are delighted to have purchased Rushey Mead Manor and look forward to working with our partners and residents in turning the home into one of the best providers of nursing and residential care in the county.

“We were extremely happy with how efficient and fair the sale process was. The transaction was conducted in a sense of good spirit by the parties and Nick ensured the balance throughout.”

Rushey Mead, which serves up to 50 people, benefits from having 48 single bedrooms, of which 25% have en-suite facilities.
