Richard has been responsible for delivering what is widely recognised as the largest new build programme in the care home sector over the past five years.  He leads the team that has opened 36 new homes creating 2,670 new care home places since 2013, and is on track to deliver a further 19 new homes by the end of 2020.  Once opened, these homes will add an extra 1,300 places to Care UK’s 7,400 strong inventory.

Helen is the home manager of Dearnevale, an Exemplar Care Home rated Outstanding by the CQC.  In addition to traditional complex nursing care packages for people with brain injuries and complex neurodisabilities, Helen is successfully running an Exemplar innovation known as OneCare, which creates specially adapted individual houses and flats for service users who do not require the wrap-around care of a home, but still require support for their nursing needs.
