Law firm RadcliffesLeBrasseur strengthens team dealing with care home disputes

National healthcare law firm RadcliffesLeBrasseur has strengthened the department that handles legal cases for care homes with the promotion of Simon Cheverst to associate solicitor.

RadcliffesLeBrasseur is a national law firm with a considerable reputation in the health and social care sector.

Around 20 partners specialise in healthcare law working with clients including care homes and other independent healthcare providers, NHS Trusts and other NHS bodies, medical equipment manufacturers, medical insurers, medical charities and medical defence organisations.

Mr Cheverst joined the firm as a solicitor in 2014 specialising in health and social care law and represents care agencies across the public and private sectors including both commissioners and providers.

Andrew Parsons, head of mental health and care homes at the firm, congratulated Mr Cheverst on his promoition, adding: “This reflects the growing specialist practice at RadcliffesLeBrasseur covering the legal aspects of the operations of healthcare and social care providers, particularly in relation to advice concerning the Care Quality Commission and regulation generally.”
