Lound Hall consists of a Georgian manor house with modern extensions and stands in extensive landscaped grounds.

It features elegant dayrooms and ensuite bedroom accommodation for up to 43 residents.

Robert Mellamphy, director at Christie & Co, who handled the sale, said: “This is a quality care home rated Good by the Care Quality Commission in October. It has been purchased by a group operator with another care home close by, which was also rated Good by the Care Quality Commission last year.

“This sale is a further illustration of the demand we are experiencing for good quality care businesses across East Anglia.”

Christopher Christou and Mark Binns, who say they are semi-retiring following the sale, added: “It was important for us to entrust Lound Hall to a buyer who has the same ethos of delivering the best possible care.”
