High end investor and developer Albion Care Communities (ACC) is opening two care homes in Abergavenny, South Wales and Hereford, Herefordshire.

The 70-bed homes, which are due to open in early 2019, include a cafe, gym, cinema room, hairdressing salon, dedicated activity spaces and extensive landscaped gardens. The homes will provide residential, nursing and dementia care.

Mike Parsons, Chairman of Albion Care Communities and Founder of Barchester Healthcare, said: “We are excited to commence development of our third and fourth care homes. Our strategy is to become the care home of choice in each locality and our two homes in Abergavenny and Hereford will be no exception, combining innovative design and extensive high end facilities. Both homes will provide exceptional levels of personalised care services to residents and will be a hub for the local community.”
