Property consultant HPC has completed the sale of a second care home inside a week, with the handover of Hazeldene Nursing Home in Sheffield to Hermes Care.
Hazeldene is a purpose built property which provides 60 en-suite nursing places for elderly residents with dementia.
HPC director, Ian Wilkie, was instructed to find new owners after the sellers, S&S Healthcare Ltd, looked to retire. “Hazeldene has been owned by the directors since it opened in 1995 and had only become available due to retirement.,” he explained.
“It was imperative for our clients that they received sound advice throughout the sales process and that the welfare of the residents and staff was protected at all times. I am pleased to confirm that a successful sale was completed to an experienced operator who will take the home forward in the coming years,” Wilkie added.
The acquisition of the Hazeldene brings the Hermes Care portfolio up to eight properties in South Yorkshire.
