Health secretary Jeremy Hunt did the honours when social care management software company everyLIFE Technologies opened a second engineering and development wing at its Farnham base.

The expansion of the building follows strong growth for the business over the past 18 months.

Paul Barry, CEO of everyLIFE said: “It’s amazing to see how quickly we are growing and that is testament of the entire team’s success and hard work. This is truly apparent through the amount of new staff we are hiring to manage and support the different aspects of the business.”

everyLIFE is the creator of the PASSsystem, a single digital Medical Administration Record that can be updated in real time as drugs are given to residents.

This year the business has developed the openPASS app that enables a person’s up to date care record to be viewed in real time in their home or remotely.

everyLIFE also launched pillPASS which links PASSsystem with LloydsPharmacy, helping care businesses minimise high risk manual medication processes.

Mr Hunt commented: “It is wonderful to see a local company doing so well, especially one that helps support the delivery of outstanding care. I am excited to see the future developments of the PASSsystem.”
