Hartford Care’s The Laurels & Pine Lodge Care Home in Oakdale, Poole has celebrated its 10th anniversary.
A host of prestigious guests, residents, relatives and community supporters attended the celebration to toast the care home and make the occasion.
Councillor Janet Walton, Leader of Poole Council, said: “I think it’s been a fabulous day, it’s been so exciting to be here. I’m also a Ward councillor for Oakdale and I have seen the home develop over the years and watched it grow from quite a small place to an amazing facility and it’s a real pleasure to be here.”
The occasion also acknowledged 13 staff members who have worked at the care home for 10 years. Exclusive 10th anniversary badges were issued to congratulate them for long service.
CEO Sean Gavin said: “The thing that has always struck me about this home and Oakdale is the sense of community and togetherness – it is something special and everyone should be proud. I think it’s safe to say that the team here give a special kind of care, comfort and companionship that was present when Hartford Care purchased the home 10 years ago and that feeling is still here today.”
