Hartford Care CEO, Sean Gavin, is celebrating 20 years with the leading care home provider.
It’s been an interesting career journey for Sean who joined the company as a finance director when it was then a specialist in the motor industry and was known as Whites Motor Group.
Following a change in commercial direction to focus on care homes, Hartford Care was formed, with Sean taking the lead as founding director and shareholder.
Since then, Sean has been instrumental in growing and shaping Hartford Care, which now has a portfolio of 15 care homes located across southern England. The company now employs over 600 staff and has its Head Office in Basingstoke, Hampshire.
Under the stewardship of Sean and his wife Jo, the company’s Brand Director, Hartford Care, whose core values are care, comfort and companionship, has built a reputation for providing consistent, high quality residential, dementia and nursing care.
It also strives to maintain a true family ethos throughout the business to enhance the care of its residents, their families and its team members.
Reflecting on his two decades, Sean said: “I have been so fortunate to work with such a group of values-driven individuals. It has been a remarkable 20 years but none of this could have happened without the support of an incredibly hard-working and dedicated team. Everybody has and continues to work tirelessly towards achieving our core goals.
“I am so very proud of all of them and how they continue to focus on our goals of delivering the best possible care for our residents, especially during these very challenging times.”
To mark his two decades with the company, Head Office staff, together with residents and teams at the care homes, made special celebratory videos, which were shared with Sean via the Internet.
