“Anisha Grange has been on an incredible journey over the last 14 months since I joined the home.

“The amazing care, love and kindness is palpable and to be recognised as Outstanding by CQC is testament to this.

“I would like to thank the residents, relatives and team members for making every day a true pleasure and I look forward to the next stages of our journey together.”

The report praised staff at the home for their “exceptional and distinctive leadership” and out of five key areas reviewed, two of the five were rated Outstanding whilst the others were rated as Good.

The home was rated as Outstanding in the areas of responsive and well led and Good for its service being safe, effective and caring.

“People provided glowing feedback about the service and care team,” the CQC commented. “People were supported to have as much choice and control over their lives and were supported in the least restrictive way possible.

“An inclusive and caring ethos was evident throughout the organisation which was strongly promoted by the management team and provider and shared by the care home team.”

One resident quoted in the report said: “I can honestly say I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else than here; I know I am safe and well looked after.”
