Specialist luxury care home provider Hallmark Care Homes is celebrating its first Outstanding CQC rating.
Bucklesham Grange in Ipswich was rated Outstanding for being Caring and Well-led and Good for being Safe, Effective and Responsive.
Hallmark Care Homes Managing Director, Avnish Goyal said: “It gives me great pleasure that Bucklesham Grange, our care home in Ipswich has been recognised by our regulator for delivering ‘exceptional care’ to residents.
“It is a testament to the hard work, dedication and passion of the team, which is shown consistently in everything they do. There are so many examples of the team going the extra mile in providing outstanding relationship-centred care to the residents.”
The CQC commented: “People received exceptional care that was personalised to them, taking account of their individual needs and wishes.
“The registered manager was supported by a dynamic management team that demonstrated a holistic approach and had clear oversight of how the service was meeting people’s physical, emotional and social needs.
“Staff were proud to work at Bucklesham Grange and were remarkably motivated and passionate about delivering high-quality care.
“They were also extremely compassionate, attentive and caring in their interactions with people.”
One relative was also quoted in the report, they said: “It is truly a wonderful place. People do come first here. The staff can’t do enough and treat them so well. Nothing is too much trouble. I’ve known them to pop in on their day off to drop things off like a board game or magazine they thought one of the residents might like; very thoughtful and considerate. They are diligent and attentive and treat people with respect and are very very caring.”
