“The service was well-led by a management team whose determination and drive was to deliver an outstanding service, leading by example, fully committed to quality and placing people at the heart of everything they did.”

One relative said: “My relative was happier at Kew House after moving there for the last 10 months of his life than he has been in many years. We valued the cheerful atmosphere, the quality of staff, care and activities, as well as the respect and dignity given to all residents. It meant a lot to me and our family to see him happy and comfortable for the end stage of his life.”

General Manager, Yetty Adepegba, said: “I am incredibly delighted that we have been recognised as an Outstanding home by the CQC.

“This is a wonderful achievement for the home and the whole team and is testament to fantastic teamwork across all team members, residents and their relatives.

“We will continue to work together to maintain this excellent standard and appreciate everyone’s support and input.”

Hallmark Care Homes, Managing Director, Ram Goyal, added: “It gives me great pleasure that Kew House, our care home in Wimbledon has been recognised by our regulator for delivering ‘exceptional care’ to residents.

“It is a testament to the hard work, dedication and passion of the team, which is shown consistently in everything they do. There are so many examples of the team going the extra mile in providing outstanding relationship-centred care to the residents.”
