The pay rise, which comes into effect from November, is being made as a thank you to all carers, senior carers and nurses for their hard work and commitment.

All Greensleeves’ care professionals will be paid above the current Real Living Wage with a pay increase for all other frontline roles implemented in April.

A Greensleeves spokesperson said: “As an organisation this goes a long way to show our ongoing appreciation for the outstanding care and support that is delivered to the ladies and gentlemen living in Greensleeves Care homes.”
