Gold Care Homes has celebrated a business first by scooping three care awards in 2019.
The care home provider was nominated for two awards at the prestigious Hertfordshire Care Awards, winning The Most Compassionate Care Award for the efforts of Shameem Chowdhury, Activities Coordinator at Autumn Vale (pictured).
Shameem said: “I’m privileged to be recognised by the HCPA. This award is testament to the hard work of all the Autumn Vale staff, who are driven to deliver the best user experience for our residents. I dedicate this award to all my co-workers who are truly inspirational.”
Gold Care Homes also won Gold at The Essex Care Sector Awards where Willowmead Care Home beat a host of Essex care homes to be awarded the Achievement and Improvement Award.
Willowmead care home manager, Femi Sholyombo, said: “As a team we have been working to improve our home for the benefit of all the residents, and it’s been a fantastic journey to witness. I am extremely honoured to receive this award.”
The year ended with Gold Care Homes winning at the Over 50s Housing Awards for the Most Outstanding Residential Care Management Team in the UK.
