The Minister of State for Care and Mental Health, Gillian Keegan, will join the speaker line-up at this year’s Future of Care Conference.
Organisers behind the event, taking place in London on March 29, have announced that Ms Keegan will discuss ‘building a world leading adult social care system’ in England. No further details have been shared.
Ms Keegan was appointed Minister of State for Care and Mental Health in September 2021, taking over from Helen Whately.
Other speakers lined up for the Future of Care Conference include National Care Forum CEO Vic Rayner, who will chair the event; Rob Assall, deputy chief inspector at the Care Quality Commission; Professor Martin Green, chief executive at Care England, Dr Jane Townson, CEO of the Homecare Association; and Nadra Ahmed, executive chair of the National Care Association.
These leaders will be joined by several directors of social care providers from across England, including SweetTree Home Care Services, Knights Care, T2Z Care Services and Essex Cares.
